this weekend

we headed up north to a freezing cabin {due to construction}, had a fabulous day on the slopes, even ran into a cousin @ the lodge, knitted, snuggled under heated blankets and could not take my eyes off my father-in-law's shockingly blue jumpsuit! 

 

{at least he was easy to spot on the mountain!}

i enjoy people who truly don't care what other's think! way to go mark!

meet diana

she produces pictures like these...... and i love her

and this is my beloved beach cruiser. i adore her as well

we are still getting to know diana so a few shots turned out quite dark, but its ok, she forgave us

you may be telling yourself, those look like old crappy pictures from the 80's, and well, you're close! the diana came out in the 60's along with the holga and they were a total bust! they produced blurry, discolored, and sometimes distorted pictures! but you see, i have a thing for blurry, discolored, and distorted pictures! it was meant to be!

i spent the greater part of new year's eve waxing karen's dad's back. maybe hubby now owes karen thrifty's because he bet her dad wouldn't do it. maybe we almost pee'd our pants laughing so hard playing loaded questions. maybe we were all too busy playing games to even notice it was midnight. maybe hubby and i were the only ones that kissed. maybe it was the best new year's i've had in a long time!
