Our whirlwind trip started out with a bang {in one of my favorite cities}
who am i kidding...any city with mass transportation and people watching: i am one happy chick
see:
waiting for the metro, i coulnd't be happier! its the little things in life people!
husband, on the other hand, couldn't of cared less
while husband was stuck in conferences, i headed to Alexandria & Georgetown to do what i came for:
SHOPPING
{& cupcakes, of course}
- we hopped on a trolly for a night tour of all the sites {which we completely got soaked, but super fun nonetheless}
we also got to go back to the FDR memorial
where husband and i were engaged almost exactly 6 years earlier! awwwwe ;)
- A pit stop at the Arlington cemetery before hitting up BGR the burger joint in Bethesda with a good friend
with plenty of walking and people watching
i was in heaven!

DC is a fun place. Sean and I went there for the 4th 2 years ago and saw all the sites. It was such a fun trip. I'm sad we missed you guys in NY though! Hope you guys had a blast
i do find it funny that you love mass transportation and yet can't touch anything in it! when you move to the east coast you will have to work on that! :)
